It was a long telecast, and I didn't enjoy all of it (don't get me started on Anne Hathaway and Michelle Obama), however, since Chase and I visited the Dolby Theatre last year, I do have a fondness for the Academy Awards and the excitement of good movies.
Also, on another side-note, we saw all the nominated films this year except Amour, and it was a great year for films. I am glad Argo won, but Chase and I talked about it after, and we will own all the nominated films except Amour and Beasts of the Southern Wild. I don't know why that film got so much love, it was just too much for me. It made no sense.
I also thought I would give some time to talking about my best and worst dressed picks.
Best Dressed:
Kerry Washington. I love her on Scandal (it's a ridiculously amazing and addicting show) and I thought everyone was kind of boring this year and her dress stood out in a good way.
Worst Dressed:
Kristen Stewart. So here's the thing, she is extremely skinny and not a hefty person at all, yet this dress is so unflattering and makes her look a lot bigger than she is. She should've shopped around more.
While Seth McFarlane did better than I expected, I still wish Tina and Amy could host everything.
It kind of helps the outfit when the head on top has a cute face. That's why Kristen Stewart doesn't usually look good. Except when she's an irresistible vampire with sparkly skin. Then she looks... irresistible. Kerry Washington is hot.
ReplyDeleteShe is and her dress was the most interesting. Kristen Stewart always looks unhappy. She was probably even an unhappy immortal vampire.
